Capcom is giving us a chance

Read the latest of Roll's Wrapups on GetMeOffTheMoon on Facebook.
Please guys, we have the chance to get the game done professionally. If they still refuse, oh well, we'll continue our work here. If they go through with it, then huzzah.

I think it's a bunch of false hope honestly... If this were the problem and that was the solution, we'd got more from CoJ besides they have no plans to make it in the foreseeable future. The English devroom is still open because CoA's devroom is totally different and the cancellation had nothing to do with CoA or C-U, not because CoJ is secretly wanting to see if interest grows.

But I did the facebook thing anyway... maybe they'll realize what a PR disaster they are making...

Either way, I signed up. I just found out about the dev room too late, so I signed up recently to be a part of it at least. Nothing wrong with giving Mega Man more numbers.

At the very least, it's a very very very faint glimmer or hope.

If we're talking about convincing Japanese board executives to care about us, it won't work—the Japanese don't adapt, they die and let their children do the adaptation for them.

Lamentably, this is true in most cases. That's their culture.

And the worst part is, when you look at men like Keiji Inafune, you realize that the young Japanese people want to adapt—their ancestors won't let them!

I think CC2 is still a good alternative short term goal. .hack hasn't been too badly mistreated aside from one highly questionable animated series. Though staffed by similarly aged people they're, as a company, relatively 'new' and 'young' in the grand scheme of things, and less prone to the failings of larger 'left hand does not even see/acknowledge right hand' types of giant companies. Really, Capcom's dumbest mistake was simply not making a specific spinoff compan simply for this game so it would sink or swim on its own merits. Recall also they were responsible for Tail Concerto...whose gameplay isn't that far off from Tron Bonne.

Twilight (lol interesting coincidence that name eh?)
That would be the one with the incestful teenagers. Too much 'modern anime' in it. Fanservice, ridiculous circumstances, impliedcest, possible shota (Ouka and Shugo), it winds up feeling like one of those fence-sitters that can't decide whether to be serious or ecchi. And the cameos by important series characters is just irrelevant aside from Balmung.

I think it sorta screwed with the original plot, since the manga was more closely related to the games and SIGN than the animated version of Twilight.

I completely forgot about it, really.
